To prevent uneven wax we recommend burning your candles for 1-2 hours at a time, long enough for the wax to melt and pool to the edges of the glass. Burning for less time can cause a build up of wax around the vessel's sides. Burning for too long (over 4 hours) can cause the wick to move or slant.
Trim your wick using our candle wick trimmer to 5mm before each burn to ensure your candle stays pristine and elegant. Long or crooked wicks can create high flames, smoking or sooting.
To extinguish the flame gently place our candle snuffer over the flame. This will extinguish the flame without disrupting the wax. Blowing out your candle can cause some of the wick to fall into the wax or sooting.
Keep your burning candle away from fans and air conditioners. Positioned near moving air can reduce the burn time and can disturb the flame, leading to diminished scent throw.
